Set to revolutionise the recruitment industry and dubbed a “superb new sort of Facebook for recruitment”, by Michael Hayman myjobsplace.co.uk enables employers to browse candidates on-line, make contact and book interviews without having to go through a traditional recruitment agency.Remote New Media competed against five other large agencies for the commission. We presented a strong vision for the project, and that, matched with our experience with building large online applications which not only work beautifully but also look beautiful and are extremely easy to use, secured us the commission.
Our first mission was to create a memorable and appropriate brand to set the tone for the new company. This was closely followed by engaging marketing material to introduce the concept to Candidates and communicate the vision and values to both employers and candidates.
This was followed by an comprehensive online application, designed and built by Remote New Media from the ground up.
The resulting portal, myjobsplace.co.uk, offers a radically different service from traditional recruitment methods. Each candidate has a profile, video clip, CV and social network profiles online. Once registered employers are able to browse individual profiles and arrange meetings if desired.
This approach dispenses with traditional recruitment agencies and enables employers and candidates to interact directly without the imposition of a third party.
