Secret Ingredients

“We went to Remote New Media with a clear idea of a new service (novel confections and decorations in handy sized tubs), but without a name, nor any branding.  We also knew that the Content Management System for the new site would have to link in with our existing accounting package, and be relatively sophisticated so that the order processing was as automated as possible.  RNM put through a realistic timescale and cost for the project and were the chosen consultants from 3 who tendered.

Quickly within the process Secret Ingredients was born, and the project progressed in 5 cycles.  The visuals and functionality of the website were built in stages and it was easy to give feedback and make amends a step at a time.  I appreciated the way RNM tackled new challenges (How can we feed this data in to Sage? How do we deal with customers who chose not to register and still capture their details? etc) calmly and methodically and with a real solutions based approach.  RNM weren’t afraid to sense check some of my requests, and were clear when any of these fell outside the scope of the project.  It has been a busy 10 weeks and we were very pleased to launch http://www.secret-ingredients.com on time on July 1^st 2010.”
