Work experience pays dividends with a new member of staff

Remote New Media Location 2

Shropshire-based brand, marketing and software development consultancy Remote New Media, has recently been joined by Jack Griffiths of Bishop’s Castle on a seven week summer internship.

Remote New Media first met Jack four years ago when he came for two weeks work experience from Bishop's Castle Community College. Jack immediately showed a natural ability for programming, building a website after just two weeks.

After ‘A’ levels and developing his skills on the first year of his programming course at Staffordshire University Jack is back - he has re-joined Remote at their new offices for the summer to assist the programing team at Remote, carry out search engine optimisation and manage the online help desk.

Jeannie McGillivray, MD, said "It's lovely to be able to have Jack back on board for the summer - he's a really helpful addition to our team and it’s great to be able to offer him paid employment in a job for the summer that is relevant to his ultimate career path."
