Our ethics

This section of our website gives us the opportunity to tell you a little about what we are trying to achieve in the background to our business. We see plainly the impact we have on the environment and our commitment to reducing that impact is core to every aspect of our business. The pressures facing our planet are urgent; we all need to make changes. These are some of the ways that we are tackling this vital issue at RNM.

We completed the careful and sympathetic renovation of a barn on our small farm in April of 2008, which our business now calls home. Making sure the development was as sustainable as we could we reused stone, invested in super-insulation and an efficient wood burning stove, obtain water from our natural spring, heat water as we use it, use low energy lighting and decorated with natural paints from our clientswww.potsofpaint.com. We buy electricity from 100% renewable supplier www.good-energy.co.uk, compost and recycle, shop locally and organically.
