Year of Food and Farming

The Year of Food and Farming is a campaign to promote healthy living by giving young people direct experience of countryside, farming and food. Started in September 2007, the Year of Food and Farming aims to involve all schools in England. His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales acts as Patron for the initiative, which is being led by the food and farming industry, and supported by Defra, DfES and the Department of Health.

Another website for HEART of ENGLAND fine foods, this time for young people who are interested in local and regional food as part of the National Year of Food and farming, Remote New Media were commissioned to design and develop this lovely website as part of the initiative.
